First review
The OK Cafe is a single location restaurant which opened in 1987. It serves breakfast lunch and dinner, but is most popular for weekend brunch, especially on Sundays. The cuisine is like a blend between Southern food and deli style. Mainstay items include omelets, pancakes, hot sandwiches and burgers. There also are plenty of vegetable side items and dessert selections. OK Cafe does not deliver but does have takeout food.

The restaurant is located at the corner of a shopping center close to Interstate 75 and not far from the trendy Buckhead neighborhood. There was plenty of parking. The café has a retro look, like a 1950s diner. Both the servers and the cooks dress in this older diner style. The chairs and tables looked to be in good condition, but the booth cushion was worn and slightly uncomfortable. The restaurant was clean. While noise levels were higher than average, there were some partitions which provided extra space and privacy from other diners.

Waits of 10-15 minutes are not uncommon here during busier times. During peak traffic for Sunday brunch, you likely will face longer waits. Reservations are not accepted. There was no wait though on a Saturday at 8:30am. Breakfast consisted of a vegetable omelet with home fries and a blueberry pancake on the side. The server was pleasant and service did not feel hurried except at the end when the bill was presented without being requested. The home fries and biscuit were both tasty, especially the biscuit which was light and quite flavorful. The omelet though was about average due to excessive grease and soggy vegetables. The pancakes were average to good; copious and fresh blueberries made up for somewhat bland pancakes. OK Café has no shortage of customers, many of which are regulars. The food and selections looked good enough to come back and try again, but the first impression was generally mediocre. From a popularity perspective, the chicken pot pie and meatloaf here are slam dunks.
