This location has closed. Flippin’ Out Crepes & Coffee is a sandwich and coffee food stand that features crepes with various combinations of meat and vegetables as well as dessert options. Drinks include coffees, teas and sodas. There is no seating indoors but covered benches enclosed by some privacy walls are available behind the building. While the food here is value priced and served fast, it's a grade above fast food.

Flippin’ Out opened in 2011 and has one location. The building has been home to other businesses in the past, such as a locksmith and snow cone place. Located in a mundane shopping center, Flippin’ Out definitely does not stand out; it’s easy to drive by unless you have an idea of what you are looking for. As the seating is outdoors, business falls off in the hottest part of summer and in winter. At other times, the benches and tables are fairly comfortable and the background contemporary rock music is good.

The small menu is divided into three categories: savory, breakfast and sweet. Savory items include a few salads and some meat and vegetable crepes. Both the Tyson’s Chandler crepe, which had roasted chicken, spinach and mushrooms and the lemon chicken crepe with chicken and asparagus were filling and appetizing. They included vegetable chips and different sauces on the side. The lemon chicken was heavy on chicken and light on asparagus. While the chicken was not much to look at, it had a decent slightly salty taste. Also the cream sauce added a nice flavor. A Nutella chocolate dessert crepe really hit the mark. A mix of chocolate, bananas and strawberries was rich and delectable. While Flippin’ Out’s location is nothing special and the interior is a bit dumpy, the food here was satisfying. It's a reasonable choice for a quick lunch or dessert when in Addison.
