The pool/courtyard here was nice than average and included some fountains. It was a good place to relax.

The Courtyard Tucson Williams Centre is a midrange hotel located in a business/corporate area in east Tucson. Built in 1996, the Courtyard has 3 floors, 147 rooms and 6 suites. It’s a non-smoking property and does not accept pets except for service animals. The hotel is set back from Broadway Boulevard so there is not much road noise. The Courtyard is located next to a Residence Inn and there are a number of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

Aspects of the hotel have a more traditional look for the Courtyard brand. The hotel encloses a central courtyard area on three sides, which is a less common layout for newer Courtyards. Also, some rooms still have a small balcony overlooking the courtyard, a plus if you like to sit outside. There are several fountains in the courtyard; it can be a quiet and inviting place to hang out on a cool Arizona night. There is a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, laundry facilities, a workout room and plenty of parking. Since this is a popular hotel for business travelers, expect generally to pay more during the first part of the work week. Rates range from $95 on a slow night to over $190 when the hotel is busier.

The first room provided was switched because the sink did not drain adequately. The second room was fine as far as sink and bathroom functionality, as well as AC and heater performance and for general cleanliness. Also, the bed was clean and comfortable. The carpet however had noticeable stains in several places, which is unusual and disappointing for a Courtyard. The computers in the lobby were terrible as they continually shut down and reset for no apparent reason. It became simpler to use a cell phone even though the screen was much smaller. As for service, the front desk staff was professional during both the check-in and checkout process. All things considered, the quality of the stay was reasonably good. A return visit would be considered but with only moderate enthusiasm.
